Where I find this motor to buy?

  • tjeerdgibson says:

1000watt? Thats a lot for a hub engine.

  • snowboardr147852 says:

where did you get the controller from??

  • Grazell says:

@EmoAssociation Agreed. Batteries are the most expensive and most critical component.

  • Grazell says:

@h3xyournightmare I cleaned up the wires a bit since the vid.

  • Grazell says:

@matty63209 Goes about 29 mph top speed on a flat.

  • ploetzlich30 says:

geeze, DUDE, 15 pounds for the motor is A LOT! i wouldn´t like to propell that extra weight for a single minute!

  • gph61 says:

@matty63209 I ride about 5 miles one way on a 450w 24v stock bike purpose built by schwinn with a currie motor and battery kit. I’m 200 lbs and it does about 18 mph on the flats with no pedaling and no wind. I climb a 350 ft steep hill at about 13 mph with moderate to heavy pedaling. It will climb the hill by its self but it crawls and drains the battery. A little bit of pedal assist on take off and hills goes a long way.

  • matty63209 says:

How fast can your bike go? I am thinking about replacing the bus with a bike such as yours to get me to college and back every day (about 8 miles) It is hilly in places but mostly flat. You said the battery weighs the bike down, could the battery alone take you up a hill?

  • thedsearch says:

Do you think I could convert an ultra motors a2b to this speed?

  • usukker says:

lol 3:21. he though that he was fast. but he ws not hahahahaahahaha

  • 2009Ubuntu says:

  • llichtveld says:

Wow that thing is quick! They sell 1000 watt unit for the front wheel too! Imagine a bike with front AND rear motors!! Anybody built one yet?

  • jtmjtm2001 says:

    @eggaweb A Flintstone car!

  • EmoAssociation says:

i want to make a ebike too, but the batteries are very expensive…(~500 $?)

  • rushforce33 says:

WOW ! my boss at work built one….but he used a super light cannondale i think….but that thing does 35+mph with me on it and i’m 165lbs. 100% torque, I almost threw the bike into my car because I wasn’t ready for it… LOL

  • kdc43 says:

@eggaweb YEAH, you tell ‘em!…….Fred Flintstone style!!!

  • BleedingSunday says:

    @mattrix2007
you can, but it wont help much..

  • eggaweb says:

For all those who say electric bikes are for wusses or lazy people, why don’t you remove the motor from your car, punch a hole in the floor and use your legs to propel your car.

  • peepod2727 says:

how long does it take to recharge when completely dead

  • h3xyournightmare says:

    too many wires…
